I was told during my last year as an undergraduate: “You need to think outside the box”, well… I was told during my entire time as a graphic design student, to always have that spark that would make me different from everyone else. It’s a fact that a degree helps you land a job on a design agency or/and everywhere else, however, it’s also a fact that “one” most push themselves to the limit every single step of the way: That’s when the vision for Maguarte Creative Studio came to be.
ABOUT THE LOGO & ITS LOGOTYPE!
It’s all inspired on my roots as Mexican-American and the colonial background my hometown displays. The main logo for example represents the heart of my beloved town of Morelia, Mexico. It’s colonial cathedral is a symbol of architecture ingenuity and shows when things are done right and to the top of their detail; they can last a lifetime, much like what a designer seeks when working something out for their clients.
I wanted to add a few more options that would represent my brand even better, that’s when a logotype idea came into mind. It also happened to be the end of the year ( 2022 ) so… Make a list of goal guidelines? Why not.
I BELIEVE IT’S TIME FOR SOME MERCH!
Every design was though out and sketched using Procreate for Ipad Pro, after this initial step we move everything to Adobe Illustrator for final edits. Then we save everything and get it ready for merchandise designs, and mock ups to promote on social media, website, and eventually sell.
